What this ZIP does
------------------
This package gives you the FULL "wp-content" pieces for Panic-to-Plate:
- Theme (professional + brand palette + homepage + full Pricing template)
- Plugin (Autopilot + Rescue Mode + My Plans + grocery print/download)
- Brand assets (logo, icons, favicon, OG image)
- Docs (page shortcodes + join page copy + starter taxonomy terms)

IMPORTANT: This ZIP does NOT include WordPress core files or MemberPress.
You must install WordPress first and install/activate MemberPress separately.

STEP 1 — Install WordPress in the ROOT domain
---------------------------------------------
In cPanel, install WordPress into:
  public_html/
(not in /wp/ or a subfolder)

STEP 2 — Upload + Extract this ZIP
----------------------------------
cPanel → File Manager → open public_html/
Upload this ZIP and click Extract.

After extraction, confirm these exist:
- public_html/wp-content/themes/panic-to-plate/
- public_html/wp-content/plugins/panic-to-plate-engine/panic-to-plate-engine.php

STEP 3 — Activate theme + plugin

WP Admin → Appearance → Themes → Activate "Panic-to-Plate"
WP Admin → Plugins → Activate "Panic-to-Plate Engine (Autopilot + Rescue)"

STEP 4 — Add logo + favicon (2 minutes)
---------------------------------------
WP Admin → Appearance → Customize → Site Identity
- Logo: upload public_html/brand-assets/logo-horizontal-2400x800.png (or use the copy inside theme assets)
- Site Icon: upload public_html/brand-assets/icon-512.png

STEP 5 — Install and configure MemberPress (PayPal)
---------------------------------------------------
1) Install MemberPress (plugin you purchased).
2) Configure PayPal gateway.
3) Create 2 Memberships:
   - Basic Autopilot ($9.99/mo)
   - Autopilot + Rescue Mode ($14.99/mo)
4) Get DIRECT purchase links for each membership.

STEP 6 — Create Pages (Shortcodes)

Use docs here:

Recommended pages:
- /autopilot/      → [panic_to_plate_decision_engine]
- /rescue-mode/    → [panic_to_plate_rescue_mode]
- /my-plans/       → [panic_to_plate_my_plans]
- /pricing/        → set Template = "Pricing (Panic-to-Plate)"

STEP 7 — Option B checkout pages (no code edits)
------------------------------------------------
Create:
- /join-basic/
- /join-rescue/

Paste copy from:
  public_html/_panic-to-plate_docs/JOIN-PAGES-COPY.txt

Add ONE button on each page and link it to the DIRECT MemberPress purchase link.

STEP 8 — Protect pages with MemberPress Rules
---------------------------------------------
Rules suggestion:
- Autopilot page: allow BOTH memberships
- My Plans: allow BOTH memberships
- Rescue Mode: allow ONLY Autopilot + Rescue Mode
- Recipe Vault (if you add one): allow BOTH; Rescue-only vault: Rescue membership

STEP 9 — Add starter recipe tags

Then start adding recipes under:
  WP Admin → Panic-to-Plate → Add Recipe

Notes
-----
- Videos: put your Vimeo/YouTube link in the Recipe meta box.
- Grocery list: uses your ingredient lines; keep them short and clean (e.g. "1 lb chicken", "Greek yogurt").
